Dr. Miller established Stephen Miller, MD, PA, in 1999. "Dermatology San Antonio" has two locations serving San Antonio and south Texas.The main practice is located at 8431 Fredericksburg Road, Suite 100, San Antonio, Texas. The facility is used for both private practice, esthetics by a clinical esthetician and clinical trial research. The newest location is at 12415 Bandera Road, Suite 114, Helotes, Texas.
Dr. Miller received his medical degree in 1974 from the University of Toronto Medical School and did his residency in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the University of Toronto and University of California, San Francisco. He has received various hospital and affiliated institution appointments and is an active member of numerous professional societies. Dr. Miller is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in Dermatology.
Dr. Karis Mical Fagan McCarroll joined Stephen Miller, MD, PA, in 2001. Dr. McCarroll received her medical degree in 1983 from the University of Texas, Galveston, Texas. Dr. McCarroll has had a great deal of experience in private practice and clinical research and continues to play a key role within the practice. Prior to joining this office, Dr. McCarroll had worked in private practice since 1987.
Both Dr. Miller and Dr. McCarroll are Board Certified in Dermatology.
Katie Tisdall, MD joined Stephen Miller, MD in July 2007. Dr. Tisdall received her medical degree in 2002 from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, where she graduated with Honors. She completed her residency training in Dermatology and served as Chief Resident at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She began her career as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Penn State before moving to San Antonio to join Stephen Miller, MD. in July 2007.
Dr. Tisdall has presented at the national dermatology meeting, published articles in peer-reviewed jounals and has been involved in resident and medical student education. She is Board Certified in Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
